TedxMaitighar: A must visit event

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

TEDx brings the spirit of TED’s mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities around the globe. TEDx events are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED.

Without infinite amount of hard work and never ending hunger, barely anything is achievable. Struggling and thriving to attain goals is all we live for. In the stream of life, we all fall. It’s up to us to continue or quit. The theme ‘tireless striving’ is all about struggles that sensations make on the road to glory. In the world we live in now, internet has just highlighted the face of success, not the unlimited efforts invested to make the days count. Not just about defying the odds, but the strong willpower, the audacity to make anything happen are the ones that make one stand out. Here, at TEDxMaitighar, they are trying to create a platform to talk about ups and downs and the attitude that successful people use to deal with all the storm.
They are committed to creating an event where participants are challenged to communicate their passions in an exciting and engaging dialogue. The format of TEDxMaitighar will allow speakers and attendees to digest and debate the talks and encourage the exchange of ideas and information amongst all participants.
TEDxMaitighar, therefore, is a unique opportunity for members of the youth community to share their ambitions for our collective future.
